Day 1 :: Day 2 :: Day 3 :: Day 4 :: Day 5 :: Day 6 :: Day 7 :: Day 8
The efforts of the army of volunteers picked up intensity as they helped complete the many "little" projects that needed to be accomplished to make the house even more "Extreme".
What were the Okland Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Crew and a group of volunteers watching from the stands of a local high school? You'll have to tune in this season to our episode to find out! It's a must see event!
Okland's Vice President of Government Projects, Tom Dalton, kept the fence building team on task and completed the project by the afternoon.
The EMHE Design Team lined up several large trucks and supervised the unloading of new furniture that dozens of volunteers brought into the Harrison's new home.
Since the home was close to completion, Dave Kasteler - Okland's General Superintendent for the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition project - was finally able to spend quality time with several groups of people who donated much time and money to make this house possible.
As the evening drew to a close, many extra projects like power washing the pavers and sidewalks, as well as washing exterior windows, doors and siding were completed.
The atmosphere around the entire EMHE site was much more relaxed than past days. Everyone involved could look upon this amazing house and the wonderful landscaping and feel a great sense of pride. A local band played on into the cool evening as everyone lingered to enjoy the energy that has surrounded this project all week. The final day is tomorrow! We invite you all to come and see what we have been doing all week!
